Inspection revealed that I needed wheel bearing replaced. They gave me an estimate for repair and told me that truck was in great mechanical condition. They would not accept money from me and I was able to use info to bargain down purchase. Could not ask for better service anywhere. As we were checking over the tires on our toad, noticed one was low. Came over immediately and filled it up for us with portable compressor. Edit for a premature review: After hitting the road towards Tulsa to continue my journey, noticed huge steering wheel shake and pulling to the right. Called up royer and was informed only one tire from the back had been moved forward, based on wear. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied with that answer and level of service. Informed I would receive a refund for the rotation since I will need to take to another shop to have fixed. 2019 |

Royer Tire Service - 5 star Been going to Royer for several years, they are price competitive and honest. Recently I had made an appointment a couples day out for an alignment on my car, but my car kept getting really hard to steer and shaking. I called and ask if I could just bring it in that day, instead of waiting for the scheduled appointment a couples days out. Asking to just check the tire and balance possibly...They said absolutely come on down. My front tire was separated and had a bulge in it. Not safe for driving. Long story short, they loaned me a tire til the new ones I ordered came in a day or two later, (weekend) and fixed me right up. I must say they went out of their way to make sure I was safe in driving with my kids, and price point was excellent. It nice to know that there is a business in JOPLIN that is upfront, honest and cares about their customers. This is why I will always go to Royer Tire. October 23, 2018 |

My daughter was in Kansas City and ran over something and ruined all 4 tires. They were a life saver for me and took all the worry out of my daughter being in a bind so far from home. Royer Tire Service - 4.5 star My family has had all of their cars inspected and repaired at Royers. My last truck I took to get aligned just after I bought it. They quickly located an irreparable problem with the frame and suggested I return the truck, because it was very dangerous. More than that, they didn't even charge me for the alignment, and called my parents to let them know what was up. I just had my current truck inspected, aligned, and repaired at Royers. They found the parts I needed by calling around and finding the cheapest parts, and they inspected my car thoroughly to identify any problems with it. Certainly, this isn't a "speckle-white" repair shop, but it's an old-fashioned auto shop - they know what needs to be done, but they're not very concerned with serving your every want. If you need something done, let them know, and they'll do it. 2013 |

Royer Tire Service - 1 star Both times that I went to royer tire, it took 10 minutes for anyone to even approach me to ask if I needed help, and I was the only person who hadn't been helped yet. There were several employees just standing around, or just walking around aimlessly. The place is a mess, the alignment I had done to my honda "required" a 250 dollar part, and still wasn't fully or perfectly aligned. I was told it would be less than 10 minutes until they could get me in to have a tire patched, 30 minutes later I'm still standing in their lobby and no one has given me the slightest acknowledgment, or update on when I could get taken care of. Poor service, unorganized, dirty, and the quality of work is very poor. DO NOT GO HERE 2012 |
